(Circa 1906) Comprising of: 12-Dinner Knives 12-Luncheon Knives 10-Serving Spoons 12-Tablespoons 12-Teaspoons 12-Bouillon Spoons 12-Demitasse Spoons 6-Grapefruit Spoons 12-Dinner Forks 10-Luncheon Forks 6-Olive Forks (long) 3-Butter Spreaders 1-Meat Serving Fork (large) 1-Tomato Server (small) Total Weight: Approx. 145 troy oz. This is a beautiful and heavy early 20th Century flatware set that was given as a wedding present in 1906 to a couple in northwest Georgia, outside of Atlanta, and is the original quarter-sawn Tiger oak case in which this flatware was given. Condition Report: Overall minor wear throughout all pieces; the silverplated knife blades show minor wear and loss throughout with a few blades showing moderate wear and loss; one tablespoon has a moderate dent to the bowl from the back side and another tablespoon has a very minor pin point dent to the bowl from the backside; the case is in wonderful shape except for loss of wood on the backside near a hinge, with the loss being approx. 3/8” high x 2 1/4” long. There is an additional hinge with screws that accompanies this case and appears to have come with the case originally. Call For Pricing
